The Microsoft SharePoint Developer is responsible for the development and administration of Microsoft SharePoint Standard Edition (SE+EE) 2007/2010 environment. Responsibilities require extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience in administering and managing complex enterprise software solutions (commercial off the shelf packages or purchased components), which are integrated with other systems and in-house developed code.

Essential Job Requirements:

• Responsible for assisting in the planning, design, configuration, testing and implementation of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server SE+EE 2007/2010 solutions.
  
• Provide technical leadership and design analysis
  
• Use Visual Studio, SharePoint Web Interface, SharePoint Designer for custom solutions. Implement provided master pages, views, templates and other custom components.
  
• Maintain sound change and release management practices
  
• Collaborate with business analysts and other developers to perform technical analysis based on business requirements. Approve technical analysis to insure it meets specifications and company standards
  
• Prepare or maintain documentation including: release notes, detailed design specifications, system and user documentation

Experience Required:

• Three years experience with Web application development and one year experience with SharePoint
  
• Solid understanding of the Microsoft IW principles including Office System, InfoPath, SharePoint Portal Server, and web services
  
• Broad awareness of basic Internet, intranet, and WWW technologies, including: Inter-intra-extranet tools; Web installation, configuration and performance management; Web security and encryption
  
• Experience with .NET servers and tools
  
• Web site design and development experience in a Microsoft environment
  
• Working knowledge to manage site columns, content types, site collections, libraries, lists and publishing templates
  
• Working knowledge and skills in ASP.Net, C-sharp, .Net, VBScript, and XML
  
• Working knowledge of SQL Server 2005

Experience Preferred:

• Develop custom web parts and web controls for SharePoint 2007/2010 using Microsoft Visual Studio for ASP.NET/C-Sharp development
  
• InfoPath forms development, InfoPath forms Services, Excel Services Configuration
  
• Responsibility for the administration of third party add-ons to enterprise applications
  
• Business Intelligence tools: SQL Reporting Services, Analysis Services, PerformancePoint
