Minimum five (5-7) years experience with:

• Developing, resolving problems with, maintaining and executing test plans and scripts for various projects
  
• Reviewing and evaluating business requirements
  
• Researching, identifying and resolving problems
  
• Developing re-usable documentation
  
• Analyzing test results for validity and correctness
  
• Some Manual Testing is required
  
• Strong Automation Test Tools experience is required (client uses the Oracle Application Test Suite OATS – formerly called Empirix). Qualified candidates must know the OATS / Empirix tool well and be able to extend its capabilities in the client’s dynamic systems.
  
• Must not have only worked with the tools ‘canned wizards or out of the box static technology’
  
• Must be able to add functionality through Scripting
  
• Must be able to write, load, de-bug and extend e-scripts with the OATS 9.x / Empirix test tool suite
  
• Knowledge of System development methodologies
  
• Structured quality control standards, procedures and test processes

Ability to:

• Test Web-Based applications on multiple platforms
  
• Evaluate systems and understand the interdependencies between components
  
• Provide guidance and training to less technical staff
  
• Take initiative to explore alternative approaches to project tasks or existing processes
  
• Communicate clearly both verbally & written about technical topics
  
• Learn new processes and tools quickly

Education:
College level Coursework or formal training in Computer Science, Information Systems, Quality Assurance or related field. Related Technology Certification or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
